On March 2, Samsung will be launching the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 in India. Prior to the launch, an online retailer from Nigeria has reportedly leaked some preliminary pricing and pre-order offers. Both devices are expected to come with 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. The Galaxy A56 is anticipated to have an Exynos 1580 chipset, along with a rear triple camera setup which might be 50 megapixels for both smartphones.

Pricing leaks from Nigeria

Based on a post made by Pointekonline, a Nigerian retailer, on the social media site known as Threads, the Galaxy A56 is listed at NGN 5,65,000 also referred to as ₦5,65,000 which translates to roughly Rs. 32,000, for the entry variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The model with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at NGN 6,04,000, around Rs 35,000. On the other hand, the Galaxy A36 is said to be priced at NGN 4,46,000 also referred to as ₦4,46,000 which translates to roughly Rs. 25,000 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version is listed at NGN 5,19,000 also referred to as ₦5,19,000 which is around Rs. 30,000.

Pre Order Information

The Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 can be pre-ordered starting February 26 and ending March 12, as per the retailer. Customers who pre-order are eligible for an adapter, Galaxy Fit 3, and a premium case. It is noted that the customer will also have to pay an initial deposit of NGN 1,00,000 (around Rs. 5,000) to book a device.

Anticipated Features

As of now, the details for the A36 and A56 models are still not public information from Samsung. Nonetheless, rumors speculate that the Galaxy A56 will use Exynos 1580 chipset, and the Galaxy A36 uses either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. Both smartphones are anticipated to have six years of software updates, 45W wired charging, and triple rear cameras with 50 megapixels.
