A retired sub-inspector of Uttar Pradesh police, who was staying at a hotel in Sector-56 in Noida, died after falling from the third floor of the hotel under suspicious circumstances on Sunday morning. Police said that on receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot, took the body into custody, and sent it for post-mortem. A police spokesperson said that Jaswant Yadav, a resident of Bank at Opera village of Bhadohi district, was a sub-inspector in Uttar Pradesh police. After taking voluntary retirement, he became the village head. As soon as the family came to know about the incident in Noida, there was an uproar.
Happiness turned into mourning.
The police spokesperson said that he was busy preparing for his son’s wedding in the village on November 28. In this connection, he had come to Noida with his nephews Abhinav and Jaiprakash. All three were staying at Hotel ‘Silver Inn’ in Sector-56 on Saturday. In the early hours of Sunday, Yadav fell from the third floor of the hotel under suspicious circumstances. He said that Yadav was admitted to a private hospital for treatment, where he died.
Police engaged in investigation.
After getting information about the incident, senior police officers and a forensic team reached the spot. He said that prima facie it seemed that Yadav lost his balance and fell from the hotel’s balcony, due to which he died. He said that the police are investigating the case keeping all aspects in mind.
