Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Actor and YouTuber Rajeev Sen, sibling of Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen, has reacted fiercely to recent comments made by his ex-wife Charu Asopa. The pair divorced in 2023 after four years of marriage, but they continue to attract attention due to their ongoing personal conflicts, especially about co-parenting their daughter Ziana.
In a recent video blog, Rajeev claimed he is contemplating suing Charu for defamation over her public comments about their ongoing family disputes.
Charu Asopa Answers to Accusations of Parenting Negligence
Previously, Rajeev claimed he was unable to spend quality time with Ziana. In response, Charu, who relocated from Mumbai to her parents home in Bikaner, stated that parenthood isn’t a privilege, but a duty which must be fulfilled.
She also pointed out financial challenges as the reason for raising their daughter in Mumbai.
Rajeev’s Defense and Vlog Explanations
Rajeev addressed some points Charu made in her vlog.
He countered her claim that he was absent during her pregnancy with the following statement.
“I was there. I have vlogs to prove it. She was the one distancing herself from me.”
Regarding Charu’s use of his name in public interviews and videos, he states:
“You’ve given so many interviews against me and I stayed silent. Now I won’t remain quiet.”
He also stated that a great deal of the negative comments about him online stem from a paid PR campaign, adding,
“You’re enjoying the bad comments about me—many of which are paid promotions.”
Legal Warning and Future Steps
Rajeev cautioned that the next time these public statements are made, he will take action. While he would rather not engage in legal battles, he suggested that continued defamation could make litigation necessary.
“If I start talking, I won’t stop. My family and I have gone through a lot,” he said in the video.
