Old rivalry leads to death! Firing in Jalandhar leaves one youth dead and the other critically injured
Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : Jalandhar Crime News: In an incident of firing in Jalandhar, Punjab, one youth was shot dead while the other seriously injured as they headed to the hospital. Police suspect the killing to be linked with a rivalry from the 11th of June.
In a tragic event, a firing took place in Jalandhar, where two youths who were heading to the hospital have been shot. One of the two succumbed to injuries on the spot while the other is currently in critical condition in hospital. The shooting incident has created terror in the region.
As per information from the police department, this firing incident seems to be an act of old rivalry dated back to June 11. The attackers had planned the attack on the victims, according to initial investigation.
What is the complete story?
The eyewitness account reveals that the whole conflict began Thursday. A rivalry took place on 11th June between Rahul, aka Kalu and his associates, against Simarjeet Singh (aka Pappu). Simarjeet Singh was a professional electrician by trade.
Because of this argument, the next day on 12th June when family was taking the victim, Simranjeet (24) for treatment to the hospital, they were intercepted by the attackers. As many as five to seven attackers ambushed them and fired at them.
One young man died as he was brought to the hospital
Simranjit Singh, was shot at and brought to Civil hospital and was declared dead as they reached. The other boy Rajveer (23) who also got shot in this firing has been admitted to hospital in critical condition.
After this incident the criminals fled the spot. However, the police had identified some of the culprits and searches were on for arresting them. In the incident Simarjeet’s family is devastated. His wife and young child are crying inconsolably. Police have assured that they are investigating into the matter and will arrest soon.
