DTPE Seals 262 PG-guest Rooms Over Illegal Constructions In Gurugram Gurugram
Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : In accordance with the orders of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, the drive of District Town Planner Enforcement (DTPE) against illegal construction and commercial activities on residential plots on Nathupur Road and S Block of DLF Phase-III has entered into the second day. In the large scale restoration and sealing campaign undertaken under the direction of DTPE Amit Madholia, the staff of DTPE, accompanied by Police, ladies police and administration, locked down the rooms of 262 PG and guest houses functioning in eight buildings. Also, several offices, gyms, salons, restaurants and other commercial businesses were locked down.
Furthermore, a PG of 128 rooms running in a thousand yard plot was also sealed down after not following rules and regulation.
The entire enforcement operation was done at the building on Nathupur Road-16. The operation started on Sunday morning at 11 am from the building of Nathupur Road-16. The ground floor, although, had got the permission to run a guest house but the stilt parking area was covered and used for an office, which was opened, all partition walls on the stilt removed and parking area made open by the department team. After that, another building of a 15 room guest house was locked down in Nathupur Road-19.
Many shops like commercial offices were operating on the ground and first floor of the building on Nathupur Road-34E.
It was a four-story building including the stilt and basement; it was used for various commercial enterprises including Easy Diners office in basement, Postcard Hotels and Resort office in the first floor, whereas total 14 guest rooms were in function at the ground and second floor and was sealed as per their scope of use – to be more precise it’s 28 rooms were sealed on this single plot. Similarly, at the four-storey building of the stilt and basement on Nathupur Road-21, Crossover Fitness Gym on basement, offices on stilt, departmental store, property dealer's office and Glamvia Lux unisex salon was sealed whereas all 45 rooms on four floors in the PG building were made to vacated and were locked down. A total of 128 PG rooms were sealed down during the day.
Meanwhile, department of DTPE launched a large drive on the two buildings of Nathupur Road-34 and 34A which are functioning as one commercial complex. Cult Gym in the basement and kitchen and restaurant on the stilt of the said two buildings were sealed and total 128 PG rooms were locked on first four floors of both buildings. Also, Project Power Gym, on the basement of the building in Nathupur Road-31, Shine & Shayra Unisex Salon and one office was sealed on the stilt floor and glass frontage also removed, Vibes Fitness, on the first floor was also locked down.
