Designed to transform public awareness into a powerful mass movement, a high-level BJP delegation led by State President Kewal Singh Dhillon formally met with the Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) to submit a memorandum, ensuring comprehensive security and traffic management across all proposed routes. The initiative underscores the party's aggressive campaign strategy to eradicate the drug menace that has plagued families and communities across the region for years.

The statewide campaign will span multiple strategic locations, setting off simultaneously from four key entry and historic points: Sujanpur in Pathankot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Fazilka, and Talwandi Sabo. Marking a major political push, BJP National President Nitin Naveen will officially flag off the yatra on September 18 from Ekta Sthal in Sujanpur, Pathankot. The multi-phased campaign will see active participation from prominent national figures, including Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Arjun Ram Meghwal, along with Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, senior party leadership, and thousands of grassroots workers and citizens.
