In this case, Gurdial Singh went to the police station about 10 days ago and lodged his complaint. Confirming the case, Superintendent of Police of Bilaspur district Divakar Sharma said that ‘a case was registered in Jhandutta police station on May 26 in this case. A case under Section 286, Section 11 and Animal Act of Indian Penal Code has been registered in this serious case of feeding explosives to cows and further investigation is on.
Police have also told that they have collected several samples from the scene of the incident. Apart from this, explosives have also been sent to the forensic lab for investigation. In this case, DSP Sanjay Sharma along with the members of the Panchayat went to the spot to investigate. He has said that this case related to cruelty to animals is being seen as a priority.
