Coronavirus, Cow Injured After Eating Explosive Video Viral: Police arrested an accused in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, 10 days after the incident of feeding a pregnant cow with explosives. A video of the injured cow was put on social media by Gurdial Singh, the owner of this cow, on Saturday (06-06-2020). In this video, Gurdial Singh, who lives in Dahd village, accused his neighbor of cruelty to a cow. He alleged that his neighbor had kept explosive food mixed with him to kill wild animals, which was eaten by his cow and was seriously injured after the blast. Through the video, Gurdial Singh also demanded strict action against the culprits. This video has also become quite viral on social media. Many people condemned the incident after watching the video and demanded strict action.

In this case, Gurdial Singh went to the police station about 10 days ago and lodged his complaint. Confirming the case, Superintendent of Police of Bilaspur district Divakar Sharma said that ‘a case was registered in Jhandutta police station on May 26 in this case. A case under Section 286, Section 11 and Animal Act of Indian Penal Code has been registered in this serious case of feeding explosives to cows and further investigation is on.

Police have also told that they have collected several samples from the scene of the incident. Apart from this, explosives have also been sent to the forensic lab for investigation. In this case, DSP Sanjay Sharma along with the members of the Panchayat went to the spot to investigate. He has said that this case related to cruelty to animals is being seen as a priority. If found guilty, strict action will be taken against the accused.
