
Pope Francis Health Update: The rumors regarding the health of Pope Francis have lifted now that the 88 year old is recovering from Pneumonia. He is currently recovering in Rome's Gemelli Hospital and according to the latest reports, his health is gradually improving. The doctors say 'Pope Francis slept well on Wednesday night and he is in a better condition than previously reported.' There are improvements regarding the issues with his kidneys, but the infections in his lungs are still being treated. It is however reported he still requires some oxygen.
No more breathing problems
As per the recent statements from the Vatican, the Pope has had no further respiratory issues since Saturday. People around the globe continue to pray for his speedy recovery wishing his health improves further.
The prayer meeting on the health of the Pope was held at St Peter’s square on Wednesday night at 9 p.m. The meeting was conducted by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, Dean of the College of Cardinals, who said we all want to believe that God will help Pope Francis make a complete recovery.
Pope Francis admited himself on the 14th of February for some critical lung infection. He had previously had bronchitis which worsened his health. The current prognosis is stable but he is not completely out of danger.
Pope started taking on roles in church administration straight after recovery.
Even during his illness, Pope Francis remains engaged in his administrative responsibilities. The Vatican has communicated that he has endorsed a new church management program and appointed four new bishops. The Catholic world as well as his followers across the globe keep praying for the health of Pope Francis. According to sources from the Vatican, if recovery progresses like this, he should quite soon be able to get back to work.
