Jamnagar, Gujarat: On Tuesday, PM Modi paid a visit to 'Vantara,' an animal rescue and rehabilitation centre located in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The centre recently underwent an inauguration and is known to house more than 1.5 lakh rescued animals. While at Vantara, he got the opportunity to explore the advanced veterinary facilities and even spent time witnessing surgeries, conservation efforts, and spending time with animals.
One video depicts PM Modi playing with Asiatic Lion cubs, White Lion cubs, Leopard cubs, and other endangered species. He was also seen through a glass partition sitting face to face with snow tigers, a white lion, and a snow leopard.
He also interacted with these and other lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants, and parrots in the company of other individuals showcasing India's wildlife preservation efforts.

So he posted some pictures of him giving water to baby lions and orphaned baby rhinoceros on x. In the same series, he has also been captured petting an okapi, hugging an orangutan, and spying spotting crocodiles. He also saw a giant python, a unique snake with two heads and a turtle with two heads.
He reiterated what i remarked earlier, in my other x post, saying \’’their efforts in making Vantara is nothing short of exceptional, a living proof of our ethos grown over centuries in protecting nature and all the living beings on it.” He continued with “the snimals and the jungle parts of Vantara, in parts of India, are all incredibly beautiful"
He then went on to tour the wildlife section of the hospital. While there, he received a rundown on an assortment of veterinary services, which include MRIs, CTs, and Intensive Care Units. There, he also went into the op room where a recently in an accident on a highway a leopard was being operated on after sustaining rather nasty injuries.
