Actor Pankaj Tripathi’s daughter, Aashi Tripathi, has made her debut in the music video Rang Daaro. The song, sung by Mainak Bhattacharya and Sanjana Ramnarayan, is a soft, romantic melody composed by Abhinav R Kaushik.
Despite currently pursuing her studies at a Mumbai-based college, Aashi aspires to follow in her father’s footsteps and pursue a career in acting.
How Aashi Landed the Role
Music composer Abhinav R Kaushik initially approached Pankaj Tripathi’s wife, Mridula Tripathi, with the idea of featuring Aashi in Rang Daaro. After discussing it with Pankaj, they decided to support Aashi’s debut in the project.
The visually stunning music video, produced by Jar Pictures, presents Aashi in the role of a painter’s muse, where she is delicately painted in vibrant colors, enhancing the song’s artistic expression.

Reflecting on Aashi’s first on-screen performance, Pankaj Tripathi expressed his pride and emotions:
"Seeing Aashi on screen was an emotional and proud moment for both of us. She has always been passionate about performing arts, and watching her deliver such natural expressions in her very first project was truly special. If this is her first step, I can’t wait to see where her journey takes her."
Aashi’s mother, Mridula Tripathi, also shared her excitement:
“When the opportunity came, I wanted to ensure that Aashi did something that aligned with her artistic sensibilities. Rang Daaro is a beautiful, soulful project, and seeing her bring emotions to life on screen was heartwarming. We are excited to see her grow and find her own path in this industry.”
