Suspense crime, Digital Desk : In the wake of the harrowing Pahalgam terrorist attack, AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi doubled down on his remarks regarding Pakistan, insisting that the country should once again be put on FATF’s grey list.
Owaisi also stated while in Maharashtra:
“Pakistan needs to be placed on ‘Grey’ list again because its deep state and establishment toady attempt to foment Hindu-Muslim civil war in the country and that is why this attack was done.”
In 2022, the FATF lifted its grey listing imposed on Pakistan after several years of scrutinizing the country for alleged terrorism financing and money laundering activities.
Appeal To Unite The Nation
Owaisi said the citizens of the country should not fall into the trap of the terrorists whose agenda is to create fear and division among people.
He remarked,
“Their plan was to eliminate non-Muslims and convey the message that there is no place for a non-Muslim in Kashmir. Their plans need to be foiled because they strive to fracture the integrity of India’s unity.”
Strong Words Against Terrorism
Owaisi has condemned the religious discrimination in the Pahalgam attack for which he criticized Pakistan saying, “Pakistan always prides itself over its nuclear capabilities, but if it walks into another nation and slaughters innocent people, of course that nation will retaliate.”
He would go on to remark the actions of terrorists as they did with some other ultra groups and said, “Murdering people just because of the religion they follow – what ‘deen’ do you utter? This is the conduct of ISIS.”
Moreover, Pakistan bash was relentless when it came to terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba with Owaisi stating, “LeT is the bastard offspring of the Pakistan Government.”
Continued Ceasefire Violations
These remarks were made during ongoing attacks by Pakistan on the Line of Control (LoC), with artillery fire reported in Kupwara and Poonch districts for the fourth successive night.
Owaisi Sets Fire to Speech in Hyderabad
While attending a gathering in Hyderabad, Owaisi was particularly sensitive on the issue of the murders and made the following remarks:
"How [swear] do you fire a firearm after interrogating someone about their identity? There must be slandered accountability. Without a doubt, these monsters crossed over from 'Pakistan,' courtesy of the ISI and their 'establishment.'"
Initial Context: Terror Attack in Pahalgam
Lashkar-e-Taiba’s other name, The Resistance Force, claimed to have murdered 26 individuals, the majority being innocent tourists and captive mild trekkers, on a lavish trip to the Baisaran meadow of Pahalgam.
In retaliation, the Terror State of Pakistan was diminished to an embassial level of ‘bug state’ diplomatically, due to their perpetuated support for terrorism.
