Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Following the terrorist attack on Pahalgam, Indian armed forces launched a focused military operation to dismantle terror networks within Pakistan, termed Sindoor. The operation struck nine key Pak terror installations situated in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, particularly those utilized by Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen.

Markaz Subhan Allah – Bahawalpur, Pakistan
This 15-acre Jaish-e-Mohammed camp located right beside Karachi Mor in Bahawalpur serves as cadre school for militant training and youth indoctrination. It is the residence of the most important JeM leaders which include Maulana Masood Azhar and Mufti Abdul Rauf Asghar. This camp also played a crucial role in the Pulwama attack. Reports state that several senior figures related to Azhar were killed during Operation Sindoor.
Markaz Taiba – Muridke, Pakistan
This Lashkar-e-Taiba base positioned close to Lahore is a major hub of indoctrination, recruitment and planning. Also served as training ground for operatives responsible for the Mumbai attacks on 26/11. This facility is linked to many prominent LeT leaders like Hafiz Saeed and Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi.
Sarjal/Tehra Kalan Facility – Shakargarh, Pakistan
This JeM site is responsible for building cross-border tunnels for the drone delivery of weapons. Operatives such as Mohammad Adnan Ali and Kashif Jan work from here under the direction of Mufti Abdul Rauf Asghar.
Mehmoona Joya Facility – Head Marala, Sialkot, Pakistan
This facility of Hizbul Mujahideen aids in the infiltration into Jammu. It is headed by Irfan Tanda, who is also associated with the 1995 Jammu stadium blasts. This facility remains active despite international restrictions, and continues to be used for training.
Markaz Ahle Hadith – Barnala, PoJK
It is a Lashkar-e-Taiba camp that facilitates infiltration to Poonch, Rajouri, and Reasi Sectors. It contains 40-50 militants at any given moment and serves as a logistical and operational command center.
Markaz Abbas – Kotli, PoJK
Bleded by Qari Zarrar, founding member of JeM, this facility is linked with the 2016 Nagrota attack. They partake in both planning and collection of resources for acts of terrorism.
Markar Raheel Shahid – Kotli, PoJK
With a longstanding association to Hizbul Mujahideen, this facility houses up to 200 militants. They receive specialized training, including participants in Border Action Team (BAT) operations.
Shawai Nallah Camp – Muzaffarabad, PoJK
This Lashkar-e-Taiba indoctrination and training camp has been operational since the early 2000s. Specialized weapons training is conducted at this camp which trains Ajmal Kasab and others for the 26/11 attacks.
Syedna Bilal Markaz – Muzaffarabad, PoJK
As a training and transit ground for Jaish-e-Mohammed, this site is run by Mufti Asghar Khan Kashmiri. It is associated with the 2016 Nagrota attack and trains operatives under the guidance of Pakistani special forces.
