Moscow: India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met Russian President Putin in Moscow today. During this, many important issues were discussed between the two leaders. According to the Kremlin, Putin met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval face-to-face in St. Petersburg. After this, he invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to come to Russia for the BRICS summit. Putin also ordered the concerned officials to make arrangements to hold separate bilateral talks with India’s PM Modi during BRICS.
Let us tell you that just in July, PM Modi visited Russia and had a discussion with President Putin on many global, regional, and bilateral issues including the Russia-Ukraine war. According to the news of Russia’s state agency TASS, Putin has proposed to arrange a bilateral meeting with the Indian PM at the BRICS summit. The President has offered to hold this meeting mainly to summarize the results of joint efforts to implement the agreements reached during the Moscow visit of the Indian Prime Minister.
Putin said we are waiting for PM Modi.
“We are waiting for Indian Prime Minister Modi in Kazan. I suggest that we also hold a bilateral meeting on October 22,” Putin said at a meeting with National Security Advisor Ajit Kumar Doval, according to the TASS agency.
A big deal happened on the issue of Ukraine.
Ajit Doval met President Putin and briefed him about PM Modi’s recent visit to Ukraine. During this, Putin was informed about PM Modi’s message of sharing information on the Ukraine issue and preparing for it further. Ajit Doval congratulated President Putin on behalf of PM Modi.
