After Stree 2, this film by Rajkumar will create a stir!
- ‘Stree 2’ is ruling the charts with a box office collection of Rs 52.50 crore on its first day. The much-hyped horror-comedy has not only been the biggest opening movie for Rajkummar Rao but has also become the third biggest Bollywood opener after Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’ and ‘Pathan’.
- The second spot goes to ‘Talaash’, starring Aamir Khan in the lead role with Rajkummar Rao in a supporting role. Released in 2012, this thriller grossed Rs 12.75 crore at the Indian box office.
- Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ had the third-highest opening for the actor with Rs 6.75 crore, thanks to Cinema Lovers’ Day.
- The fourth spot belongs to the 2018 film ‘Stree’, which started the popular horror-comedy world of Maddock Films and also includes ‘Munjya’ and ‘Bhediya’. The Amar Kaushik-directed film opened with Rs 6.65 crore and crossed the Rs 100 crore mark by the end of its theatrical run. It was Rajkummar Rao’s last big hit film and now ‘Stree 2’ has created history at the box office.
