Several minute’s accomplishments and awards were given out during the course of 97th Academy check out. However, aside from those prominent names, the spectators who were present at the annual prize ceremony at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday also adored the amusing hosts of the evening, former Parks and Recreation actors, Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman.
Parks and Recreation actors Offerman and Poehler came together at 2025 Oscars where Poehler’s name was erroneously pronounced by Offerman, “Introducing the presenters for the next event – Amy Poe-ell-er.”

Offerman's acceptance of the role means he has taken the mantle as the official announcer for the evening – a position formerly fulfilled by David Alan Grier and which dates back to President Ronald Reagan in 1953.
At the same time, she was there at the annual ceremony to announce the nominees for best screenplay original. She wrongly defined Sean Baker, a writer of Anora as the victor. Poehler also rewarded the best adapted screenplay Peter Straughn for the movie Conclave.
For the past 7 years, Offerman and Poehler have starred together on television courtesy of the American sitcom Parks and Recreation. Julia Louis-Dreyfus has the pleasant and sassy Leslie Knope while Offerman takes on the moody and brutal boss Ron Swanson. Their characters’ extreme differences enabled great comic relief.
Amy Poehler most recently appeared in the animated film Inside Out 2 where she was the voice of Joy. Now, she is an executive producer for the new series, Three Busy Debras.
And Nick Offerman has recently starred in Civil War and The Last of Us. He has a ton of exciting projects lined up such as Smurfs 2025 and Mission Impossible 8.
