Global NCAP has given this car a 5-star rating for adult safety, while it has given a 4-star rating for child safety. This is Maruti’s first car to get a 5-star rating. Maruti Suzuki has claimed a mileage of 24.79 km per liter for the new standard Dzire, 25.71 km per liter for the automatic Dzire, and 33.73 km per kg for the CNG variant. This car has an engine of 1197cc capacity, which generates power of 69 – 80 bhp while generating a peak torque of 101.8 Nm – 111.7 Nm.  

Tata Tigor

Tata Motors Tigor car also has its place in the compact sedan segment. The starting ex-showroom price of Tata Tigor (petrol) is ₹ 5,99,900. You can buy it in petrol as well as CNG. You can also buy it in electric. It has an engine of 1199cc capacity. In this, the petrol engine gives a maximum power of 86 PS @ 6000 rpm and the CNG gives a maximum power of 73.4 PS @ 6000 rpm. Global NCAP has given this car a 4-star rating in terms of adult safety, while in child safety it has a 4-star rating.

Honda Amaze

Honda’s Amaze also has a presence in the market. The ex-showroom price of the Honda Amaze in Delhi is ₹7,62,800. It also has an 1198cc engine, which gives a maximum power of 66(90)@6000 kw (ps)@rpm and generates a peak torque of 110@4800 nm@rpm. According to the company, Amaze gives a mileage of up to 18.6 kilometers per liter. Global NCAP has given this car a 2-star rating for adult safety, while it has a 0-star rating for child safety.

Hyundai Aura

Hyundai Motor India’s car Aura also has a good presence in this segment. According to the company’s official website, its ex-showroom price in Delhi is ₹ 6,48,600. The car is equipped with a 1.2 l Kappa engine of 1197cc capacity, which gives a maximum power of 50.5 kW (69 PS) @ 6000 r/min and generates a peak torque of 95.2 Nm (9.7 kgm) @ 4000 r/min.
