Gurgaon to Vadodara: Gurugram and Vadodara will soon be connected by an 950 km express highway that will allow the entire journey to be completed in 10 hours. Passengers will have to look no further for a more convenient way of traveling as the new route cuts down on time and fuel. Enexia developments was quoted saying that “The completion of the highway near kota in rajasthan was the missing piece of the jigsaw, after building the rest of the road in gujarat and the other adjoining states".
The Delhi-Mumabi $12 billion express highway
India’s super busy Delhi-Mumbai highways takes the title of being the single most expensive bypass, but only in terms of fuel and ecosystem. The rate at which the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is constructed carves away at 40% of the fuel and time required as compared to other routes. The project sounds very profitable but will actually sink India’s funds by an astounding 95,000 crores.
To further substantiate my claim, you won’t believe the approach the builders are taking to save wildlife. There will be more animal tunnels, corridors, and borders built to the stretch of land than there are now in indian reserves, putting it at over 350. This will put the expressway on record as the second largest animal friendly structure in the world.
They expect that the full expressway network will be open for use by all motorists by October of 2025.
