Motorola is gearing up for the launch of its latest smartphone, the Edge 60 Fusion, which is expected to hit the Indian market in the coming weeks. Leaks and rumors surrounding the device have already revealed several details about its specifications, expected price, and launch date.

Expected Launch Date and Price

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is expected to be officially unveiled in India on April 2, 2025, with the first sale speculated to take place a week later, on April 9, 2025. While Motorola has not confirmed the pricing yet, the device is anticipated to be priced around €350 (approximately Rs 32,920). This marks a notable increase from the Edge 50 Fusion, which had a starting price of Rs 22,999.

Specifications and Features

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is expected to offer significant upgrades, starting with its processor. The smartphone is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, offering enhanced performance and efficiency. It is also expected to feature a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is a slight increase in size from the 6.67-inch display found in the previous model. However, the refresh rate will be a downgrade from the 144Hz display of the Edge 50 Fusion.

Camera Setup

In the camera department, the Edge 60 Fusion is expected to include a dual rear camera setup:

  • 50MP Sony LYT700 sensor (primary)
  • 13MP secondary camera

On the front, it is likely to sport a 32MP selfie camera, offering high-quality selfies similar to last year’s model.

Battery and Durability

The battery capacity of the Edge 60 Fusion is rumored to be 5500mAh, an upgrade from the 5000mAh battery in the Edge 50 Fusion, offering about a 10% increase in capacity. This will likely translate to longer usage time for the device.

Moreover, the Edge 60 Fusion could come with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, ensuring that it remains durable in tough conditions. The smartphone is also expected to have MIL-STD-810 certification for added durability, making it resistant to shock, temperature, and vibration.
