Mika Singh On Shah Rukh Khan: Mika Singh, a famous singer whose songs in Punjabi and Hindi film industry makes people dance, recently shared some snippets about his cordial ties with the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. While chatting with the media, Singh revealed that he once presented Khan with a stunning ring that was worth Rs 50 lakh. "This ring is always on my finger. I gave a similar ring to Amitabh Bachchan and Gurdas Maan as well," he remarked.
As he added, “But the initial thing is that I gave this ring to Shahrukh. I actually did not possess anything unique to offer him, so I extended the ring.” Shahrukh accepted it lovingly and thanked me. The following day, Shahrukh called Mika and requested he return the ring. “Shahrukh bhai remarked to me, ‘This is very expensive… paaji, take it back.’ But I offered, ‘No. I am a fan of yours,’ and kept refusing.
Mika Singh has presented the ring to Shahrukh when he got the opportunity.
Mika explained, “I told him that I wanted to give him a present. Hence, I provided you that ring with no expectations of hearing from you or having any other interaction, let alone a chance to sing.' After this his acquaintances with Shahrukh Khan started growing. When conversing with Mika, there was another time he recalled during an encounter with Shahrukh Khan, who was in the studio. At that point, Shahrukh was filming for ‘Happy New Year’ and Mika was doing a project with Himesh Reshammiya.
Mika had offered Shahrukh his Hummer car.
Shahrukh mentioned that he would see me after the shoot is completed. But I jokingly said if Shahrukh gets free first, he may come to my set. Shahrukh fulfilled his word and came to my set.
He observed the shooting from that location for an hour. Himesh felt anxious at that time. By the point Shahrukh was heading back, the crowd grew so thick that he had to abandon his car far away. That was when Mika told him to take his Hummer.
I held on to the car for 3 months.
Shahrukh replied, “Are you sure?” and took the car with him. Mika later DM’d him to say that he could return the car whenever he felt like it. The car really impressed Shahrukh which is why he had it for three months. Shahrukh Khan will be appearing next in Siddharth Anand’s ‘King’ alongside his daughter Suhana Khan. The film is expected to drop around Eid in 2026.
