Massacre in UP: Controversy erupts over common goat theft in Amethi, one dies

In Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, in a common goat-stealing dispute, the elder brother along with his sons attacked the younger brother’s family with sticks. Relatives of the younger brother were seriously injured in the elder brother’s attack, who were admitted to the district hospital for treatment, where the younger brother died during treatment.

This entire case is from Gudur village in Gauriganj area. Around 10 am this morning, Shivnath Singh and his two sons Sandeep and Kuldeep attacked Ram Naik Singh and his family with sticks and rods in a mutual dispute over goat theft. After committing the incident, the three accused fled from the spot. Villagers rushed the critically injured Ram Naik Singh, Uttam Singh and Rita Singh to the district hospital, where Ram Naik Singh died during treatment, while doctors referred Uttam Singh and Rita Singh to the trauma center in a critical condition.

As soon as the information about the matter was received, the police reached the spot and inspected the spot and ordered the immediate arrest of the accused. In view of the tension, police arrangements were made in the village. SP of Amethi said that a case will be registered and strict action will be taken against the accused.
