Major administrative reshuffle in Bihar… 16 IPS and 11 IAS transferred, Kumar Ravi becomes Secretary of Health Department

The Bihar government has also transferred a large number of senior IAS officers. In a major administrative reshuffle, the Samrat government has changed the responsibilities of 16 IPS officers and 11 IAS officers. Kumar Ravi, considered one of the closest IAS officers to former CM Nitish Kumar, has been appointed Secretary of the Health Department. In the recent expansion of the Samrat cabinet, former CM Nitish Kumar's son, Nishant Kumar, has been appointed Minister of the Health Department. Kumar Ravi will also hold the additional charge of Secretary of the Parliamentary Affairs Department, which is held by Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Chaudhary.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department, H.R. Srinivas, of the Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department, will now be the ACS of the Social Welfare Department. He will also hold the additional charge of ACS of Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes. Santosh Kumar Mall, Principal Secretary of the Water Resources Department, will now be the Principal Secretary of the Disaster Management Department. Mall will also hold the additional charge of Investigation Commissioner, General Administration Department, and Officer on Special Duty, Office of the Local Commissioner, Bihar Bhawan, New Delhi.

Kumar Ravi gets new responsibility

Similarly, Lokesh Kumar Singh, Secretary of the Health Department, will now be Secretary of the Tourism Department. He will also hold the additional charge of Secretary of the Science, Technology and Technical Education Department and will also hold the additional charge of Secretary of the Chief Minister's Secretariat. Kundan Kumar, Secretary of the Industries Department, will now be Resident Commissioner, Bihar Bhawan, New Delhi. Kumar Ravi, Secretary of the Chief Minister's Secretariat, will now be Secretary of the Health Department. He will also hold the additional charge of the Parliamentary Affairs Department.

Ajay Yadav, Secretary of the Central Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department, will now be the Secretary, Energy Department. Along with the Secretary of the Central Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department, he will also hold the charge of Chairman cum Managing Director, Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited and Managing Director of Bihar State Beverages Corporation Limited, Patna and additional charge of General Administration Department. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Secretary of the Commercial Tax Department, will now be the Secretary of the Finance Department. Sanjay Singh will also hold the additional charge of Commercial Tax Department, Commercial Tax Commissioner, Additional Commissioner Goods and Services Tax and Secretary Chief Minister's Secretariat.

Their departments also changed

Pranav Kumar, Secretary of the Arts and Culture Department, has been appointed Secretary of the Building Construction Department. In addition to his duties as Secretary of the Arts and Culture Department, he will also hold the additional charge of Investigation Commissioner of the General Administration Department, Managing Director of the Bihar State Film Development and Finance Corporation, and Managing Director of the Bihar State Building Construction Corporation. Manoj Kumar Singh, Secretary of the Energy Department, has been appointed Resident Commissioner, Bihar Bhawan, New Delhi. Manoj Singh will hold the additional charge of Investment Commissioner, Mumbai.

Chandrashekhar Singh, Secretary of the Chief Minister's Secretariat, will now be Secretary of the Water Resources Department. He will hold the additional charge of Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department, Chairman of the Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited, and Mission Director of the Bihar Development Mission. Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh has also served as the District Magistrate of Patna.

Rajneesh Kumar Singh, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, will now be Inspector General of Tax and Reform Services. He will hold the additional charge of Registrar of Cooperative Societies and Additional Director of Program Monitoring, Bihar Development Mission.
