Khushi Kapoor on Exploring Darker Roles
In a conversation with Grazia India, Khushi Kapoor mentioned that while she isn't seeking entirely horror roles, she would like to explore films with a slightly darker tone than what she has done so far. She shared, "I’ve always been curious to see what the process of a thriller-horror movie would look like; maybe not completely horror but something a bit darker than the movies I’ve done so far. It would be interesting to explore a slightly darker film. I like doing dramatic and emotional scenes, so I think it would be interesting to do a film that was heavier on those kinds of notes."
Her desire to challenge herself in darker films shows her willingness to step out of her comfort zone and pursue emotionally demanding roles that could showcase her versatility as an actress.
Nadaaniyan and the Backlash
Khushi's most recent project, Nadaaniyan, has received mixed reviews from both critics and audiences. He provided words of encouragement for the duo, emphasizing the importance of resilience in the face of criticism. Johar's comments serve as a reminder of the challenges newcomers face and the need for industry support.
