The film presents an intriguing and hilarious premise, following the journey of a down-on-his-luck Sub-Inspector, played by the talented Suhas. His life takes an extraordinary turn when he gets a once-in-a-lifetime (or after-a-lifetime) opportunity to meet his childhood idol, the celebrated actor U.K. Rao. The twist? The actor, portrayed by National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh, is now a ghost with an important final wish she needs the bumbling officer to fulfill.
Directed by Ani I.V. Sasi and produced by Radhika Lavu of Ellanar Films, Uppu Kappurambu brings together two of Tollywood's most acclaimed actors in unconventional roles. Keerthy Suresh steps into the ethereal shoes of a spirit, a role she described as delightfully quirky and a departure from her usual characters.
