At a recent book launch event, Kareena opened up about gaining 25 kg during the birth of her second son, Jeh, and how the experience briefly triggered feelings of insecurity. However, she quickly grounded herself with her trademark self-assurance, even quoting her famous “Jab We Met” line:

Reflecting on her postpartum experience, Kareena said:

"After Jeh’s birth, I did think ‘Oh my God, I have to do this all over again.’ But that thought lasted only a moment. I realized I still felt fabulous—even with 25 kg more."

She emphasized that daily self-reassurance and believing in oneself were key to emotional well-being:

"If you reassure yourself every day, it becomes easy to believe. Eventually, others start believing it too—but what they think doesn’t matter. At least, I’ve always lived like that."

Kareena’s long-time fitness expert Rujuta Diwekar praised the actress’s healthy mindset.
