Over 1 Crore People to Sing National Song Simultaneously Nationwide on September 25

Marking a monumental milestone in India's cultural history, Vidya Bharati—the country's largest educational organization—is gearing up to host a historic nationwide mass-singing event. On September 25, 2026, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the composition of our national song Vande Mataram, over one crore people across the country will raise their voices in unison in a synchronized tribute.

A Mega Nationwide Event on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's Birth Anniversary

Scheduled to take place at 11:00 AM on September 25, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the massive initiative is designed to unite millions in patriotic fervor. The scale of participation is unprecedented, drawing approximately 30 lakh students currently enrolled in Vidya Bharati institutions, along with the entire faculty, administrative staff, and nearly 25 lakh alumni. Furthermore, members of management committees from roughly 12,000 formal schools nationwide, alongside their families, are set to join the chorus.

Reaching 24,000 Centers and Local Communities Across India

Detailing the grand operational framework, Khayali Ram, the regional organization minister for Jharkhand and Bihar, announced that the synchronized recitation will resonate far beyond formal classrooms. The program will be conducted across all 12,000 formal Vidya Bharati schools as well as approximately 12,000 informal cultural and educational centers operated by the network.

Extensive outreach efforts are underway to include rural villages, local community members, and volunteers from the RSS and allied ideological organizations. Large-scale public gatherings ranging from 1,000 to over 5,000 attendees are planned at numerous prominent locations, with dedicated committees established in every district to ensure flawless execution.

National Leadership Reviews Preparations in Jharkhand

To oversee the meticulous planning of this historic event, Vidya Bharati's National Co-Organization Minister, Shriram Aravkar, arrived in Ranchi to conduct high-level reviews. Accompanied by State Minister Brajesh Kumar and State Secretary Nakul Sharma, Aravkar is scheduled to lead strategic planning sessions with state committee officials at the Shukla Colony office in Ranchi. His itinerary also includes extensive coordination meetings at Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Lohardaga and a visit to the historic Netarhat Residential School, ensuring that the 150th-anniversary tribute to Vande Mataram becomes an unforgettable chapter in India's national consciousness.
