The high-profile event, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, served as a premier platform for cutting-edge financial technologies. Among hundreds of participating enterprises, Prime Minister Modi personally visited the UB Group exhibition booth, dedicating a remarkable 15 minutes to engage deeply with Kumar regarding the company's pioneering financial solutions, technical infrastructure, and vision for expanding credit accessibility across every corner of India.

UB Group was distinguished as one of only eight select booths visited by the Prime Minister out of more than 300 fintech companies exhibiting at the summit. During the interaction, Kumar detailed how his firm is developing state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based financial infrastructure designed to streamline and simplify credit processing for diverse populations. Established in 2020, UB Group focuses on bridging capital gaps in India's institutional debt market through advanced technology. By seamlessly connecting enterprises, investors, and lenders, the platform has successfully facilitated loan transactions exceeding ₹3.2 lakh crore, boasting an extensive network comprising over 17,000 businesses and 6,200 financial institutions.

From Deoghar Roots to Global Fintech Leadership

Gaurav Kumar’s entrepreneurial journey is deeply rooted in his hometown of Deoghar, where he completed his early education up to the 10th grade at St. Francis School. The son of renowned local physician Dr. Sudhir Kumar, Gaurav maintains strong personal and familial ties to the region. With nearly two decades of rich experience in the lending and fintech sector, Kumar has engineered over ten structured financial products and pioneered asset-backed securitization for microfinance.
