CUJ Pride: 12 Geography Students Clear UGC JRF, NET, and PhD Examinations, Bringing Laurels to Central University of Jharkhand
Students from the Department of Geography under the School of Natural Resource Management at the Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) have once again proved their academic mettle on a national stage. A total of 12 bright scholars from the department have achieved remarkable success by clearing highly competitive national-level examinations, including the University Grants Commission (UGC) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), National Eligibility Test (NET), and PhD entrance tests, inspiring peers across the campus.
Outstanding Performance Across National Categories
The newly released departmental achievement report highlights exceptional results across multiple categories, reflecting the rigorous academic environment fostered at CUJ:
UGC JRF Success: Kundan Kumar Pandit brought special honor to the department by successfully qualifying for the prestigious UGC JRF, securing enhanced financial and research opportunities.
UGC NET Qualifiers: Nine students—Preeti Bhagat, Bhavya Siddhi, Swati Kumari, Afreen Jahan, Abhishek Kumar, Pradumn Pandey, Saurabh Kumar, Kriti Lata Thithiyo, and Khushi Gagrai—successfully cleared the UGC NET examination.
PhD Admissions: Swati V. Tigga and Arjun Prasad secured their success in the PhD-only category, paving the way for advanced academic research.
