BJP in the Jharkhand Rajya Sabha Elections! Would the JMM and Congress face difficulty without voting

A businessman from Gujarat and an MP of Andhra Pradesh has now stepped into the politics of Jharkhand. Parimal Nathwani, an MP from the YSR Congress Party, has received support from the NDA, a party headed by the BJP as an independent candidate for the Jharkhand Rajya Sabha Elections. The entry of this leader is bound to make the Jharkhand elections interesting.
Now there are three candidates for the two seats in Jharkhand. Hemant Soren of JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha) will be represented by Dalit leader Baidyanath Ram of his party. Pranav Jha is contesting the election for Congress. Added to these is NDA-backed independent Parimal Nathwani, which has now made the elections interesting. The current focus is on whether NDA-backed candidates would be able to bridge the gap in the number of votes between the number required and the opposition alliance's number.
Parimal Nathwani had requested all parties to support him
An independent candidate, Parimal Nathwani, submitted his nomination papers for the Jharkhand Rajya Sabha Elections and pleaded that he be supported by all parties. He added that he had friendly relations with leaders of all political parties.
What did the BJP state in connection with Parimal Nathwani's support?
Pratul Shahdev, a BJP leader, in regard to supporting Parimal Nathwani for the Rajya Sabha stated, "The BJP wanted to put a party worker in Jharkhand until the very end, but we simply did not have the numbers. We have 21 MLAs, but we needed 28. Even the addition of allies would only have taken this to 24. We tried to do our best, but when things did not fall our way, we gave our support to Parimal Nathwani."
He went on to say that Parimal Nathwani had previously represented the country twice in the Rajya Sabha, and had an excellent work record, being a renowned businessman. "Parimal Nathwani had asked us for the BJP's support and we are going to give it to him." he added.
What was the Congress party's stance on Parimal Nathwani?
Bhupesh Baghel, the Congress observer for Jharkhand and the former CM of Chhattisgarh has expressed his view regarding the Rajya Sabha elections in Jharkhand and the candidature of Parimal Nathwani. According to Bhupesh Baghel, the Congress strategy for the Rajya Sabha elections in Jharkhand is fixed and the Congress-JMM grand alliance is united and they will surely win.
Regarding Parimal Nathwani, he added, "The BJP is supporting a moneybag. We have a government in Jharkhand and there will be no horse trading there. There is no need to send any MLAs to any resort."
