The Indian Army has released the comprehensive datesheet for the second phase of the Agniveer Recruitment Rally (2026–27), scheduled to run from September 22 through October 7 at the KLP Ground in Chandmari, Danapur Cantt. Addressing a formal press conference on Sunday, Colonel Bindu Agnihotri, Director of Recruitment at Recruiting Office (Headquarters) Danapur, confirmed that meticulous logistical arrangements have been finalized in close coordination with the Patna district administration and the Headquarters Jharkhand & Bihar Sub Area. A total of 11,042 shortlisted male and female candidates across Bihar and Jharkhand will participate in this high-stakes, merit-based selection drive, supported by Patna District Magistrate Kundan Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police Kartikeya K. Sharma, and Danapur Sub-Divisional Magistrate Virupaksha Vikram Singh to ensure foolproof crowd control, round-the-clock safety, and absolute transparency.

District and Category Breakdown: Key Dates for GD, Technical, and Tradesmen Aspirants

The recruitment drive will unfold in phased batches starting with Agniveer General Duty (GD) candidates from Patna, Buxar, Bhojpur, Siwan, Saran, Gopalganj, and Vaishali appearing between September 22 and 25. Male aspirants from the same seven districts registered for Agniveer Technical as well as Office Assistant/Storekeeper Technical categories will report from September 26 to 29, followed by the recruitment screening for 8th and 10th pass Agniveer Tradesmen on September 30. Starting October 1 through October 4, an estimated 3,500 shortlisted male candidates from across all districts of Bihar and Jharkhand will undergo physical trials for Agniveer Clerk/Storekeeper Technical (SKT). Concluding the drive, October 6 and 7 will be dedicated to approximately 253 shortlisted female candidates competing for coveted slots in the Agniveer General Duty (Women Military Police / AVWMP) cadre.

Given unpredictable weather conditions and the prospect of monsoon showers, military authorities have set up weather-resistant waterproof pandals and confirmed that the physical endurance running trials will take place on metalled road tracks rather than grassy turf, prompting recruiting officers to strongly advise all candidates to wear durable, high-traction running shoes to prevent slipping and muscle injuries. In a unique community partnership aimed at candidate welfare, the district administration has engaged local Jeevika Didis to operate on-site community kitchens, providing hygienic, freshly prepared meals throughout the fortnight-long event. All shortlisted applicants, whose formal admit cards were uploaded directly to their official Indian Army online registration profiles on September 18, 2026, must report punctually on their allocated reporting dates alongside their mandatory original documentation, educational certificates, and photo identification credentials.
