There is a lot of political activity in Jharkhand regarding the assembly elections. Elections for the 81-member Jharkhand assembly will be held in two phases on November 13 and 20. The counting of votes will take place on November 23 at the end of this month. The first phase of elections is to be held on November 13 (Wednesday), in which voting will take place on 43 seats in 15 districts. The second phase of voting will take place on November 20 and voting will take place for 38 seats on this day. The average assets of 17 Congress candidates is Rs 14.77 crore, making it the richest party.
The average assets of 5 RJD candidates is Rs 8.82 crore.
BJP is third with an average asset of Rs 5.53 crore for its 36 candidates. The average assets of
23 JMM candidates are Rs 4.04 crore. The average assets
of 2 JDU candidates is Rs 3.46 crore, while the average assets of 29 BSP candidates is Rs 1.50 crore.
In the Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024, out of a total of 682 candidates, 174 (26%) have declared criminal cases against themselves, out of these, 127 (19%) candidates have serious criminal cases registered against them.
20 out of 36 (56%) BJP candidates have declared criminal cases.
11 out of 17 (65%) Congress candidates have declared criminal cases.
In this list, 11 out of 23 (48%) JMM candidates, 8 out of 29 (28%) BSP candidates, 3 out of 5 (60%) RJD candidates, and both JDU candidates have declared their criminal cases.
In serious criminal cases, 15 (42%) BJP candidates, 8 (47%) Congress candidates, 7 (30%) JMM candidates, 6 (21%) BSP candidates, 3 (60%) RJD candidates and both JDU candidates are involved in serious cases.
The richest candidate
in the first phase is independent candidate Kandomani Bhumij from the Potka (ST) seat of Singhbhum district. Congress candidate Krishna Nand Tripathi from Daltonganj of Palamu is in second place. Ayush Ranjan, an independent candidate from Ranchi seat, is the third richest candidate.
Which candidate is educated
According to the report, 308 (45%) candidates have declared their educational qualification to be between 5th and 12th standard, while 348 (51%) candidates have declared their educational qualification to be graduation or above. 6 candidates are diploma holders. Apart from this, 18 candidates have declared themselves as only literate, and 2 candidates are illiterate.
