Mumbai defeated Punjab by six wickets in the match played at the Zayed International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma won the toss against Punjab and decided to bowl first. Playing first, Punjab could score only 135 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted overs. In reply, thanks to 45 runs from Saurav Tiwary, Mumbai chased down the target in the 19th over for the loss of 4 wickets.
Sourav Tiwary scored 45 runs in 37 balls for Mumbai. While all-rounder Hardik Pandya also contributed an unbeaten 40. Man of the Match Kieron Pollard made 15. Earlier, Adam Markram scored 42 runs in 29 balls with the help of 6 fours. Deepak Hooda contributed 26 runs off 28 balls. Kieron Pollard and Jasprit Bumrah took 2-2 wickets for Mumbai while Krunal and Chahar took 1-1 wickets.
