Suspense crime, Digital Desk : As stated by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Monday, India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will pay a three-day visit from May 27 to May 29 in Washington DC.

The U.S. visit comes after the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, visited the U.S. in February 2025, where both India and the U.S. inaugurated the India-U.S. COMPACT, aimed at increasing military, economic, and technological cooperation between the two countries.

India-U.S Strategic Partnership

The MEA also stressed that Misri’s visit is part of the efforts to implement the outcome-based agenda designed during the launch of COMPACT. This initiative aims at fostering “trust to deliver within a year” as mutual benefits within the U.S. and India are expected to created on tangible results.

In those, Misri is expected to meet with higher rank officials from the Donald Trump administration. These vacancies have been existing since January. These gaps have been a source of delays in communication and cooperation between New Delhi and Washington.
