Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Pawandeep Rajan, the victor of Indian Idol 12, got into a life threatening collision on the fifth of May on the road close to Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. His SUV reportedly hit a parked truck close to Gajraula, Amroha at around two thirty in the morning. On that day he was driving to Delhi to board a flight to Ahmedabad for an event.
Injuries and Immediate Medical Attention
His team has issued an official statement through Instagram claiming that Pawandeep sustianed other injuires alongside multiple major fractures. While he was initially attended to at a local facility, he is currently at a Delhi NCR hospital after being relocated for advanced treatment.
Pawandeep met the surgeons on the very day of the accident at seven in the evening. His critical fractures were attended to during the six hour operation. Presently, he is being monitored in the Medical ICU ward. Further surgery is planned for him after three to four days of complete bed rest.
Team Confirms Pawandeep Is Stable
The social media handle of his team had also published a post stating that the unfortunate incident led to uncontrolled bleeding and intense pain, rendering the vocalist unconscious and bedridden for most of the day after the accident. In their words, May 5 was an extremely hard day for his loved ones and supporters.
Yet, they did also share a hopeful update: “He is doing absolutely fine now,” thanking everyone for the support including fans, family and friends.
Rest of the People Hurt in the Accident
The injured parties from the incident also include Pawandeep’s driver, Rahul Singh, and his co-passenger Ajay Mehra. The three of them were moved to an adjacent hospital, only to be later relocated to a more advanced medical facility for specialized care.
