Suspense crime, Digital Desk :  In response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Indian forces conducted an extensive military campaign targeting suspected terrorist installations in Pakistan and POK. It is reported that over 100 terrorists were eliminated in this counterstrike through missile and drone assaults.  

Pakistan Bilaterally Violates Ceasefire; India Responds  

Following India's actions, Pakistan unilaterally violated the ceasefire agreement and launched multiple missiles towards Indian territory. These missiles were intercepted and neutralized mid-air by India’s defense system.  

In retaliation to airspace violations, Indian forces escalated further, destroying multiple airbases and radar installations within Pakistan. The intensity of retaliation compelled Pakistan DGMO to request an immediate hotline call with his Indian counterpart, resulting in a temporary ceasefire.  

Talks at DGMO Level Set for May 12  
Permitting the DGMO level talkes to set an agenda beyond the one issued by India to focus solely on the immediate and evolving situation in POK. In this context, Indian PM reiterated that no matters such as the Indus Water Treaty, POK will be entertained.  

Moreover, the Indian Armed Forces conveyed a stern warning: any future breaches of the ceasefire will result in immediate retaliation.

India's Current Caution and Activity Status

Indian sources say that Pakistan deployed drone and missile strikes post-agreeing to a ceasefire on May 10. As a result, India maintains operational control of Operation Sindoor, which was initiated on May 7 in retaliation to the attack at Pahalgam.

In the words of government spokesmen, nine terrorist strongholds in Pakistan and POK have been destroyed. A senior source told ANI, “There continues to be violations even after the ceasefire is agreed to. These people must understand that every action comes with consequences.”

As Operation Sindoor continues, India signaled to the world that no terrorist group or backer will be spared and all will be dealt with accordingly.
