Jaipur. On Sunday, the administration bulldozed two illegally constructed houses belonging to a history-sheeter with a 25-paisa bounty on his head in Kota, Rajasthan. History-sheeter Adil Mirza has 34 cases registered against him in various police stations in Kota district. He has twice fired at police officers.
Kota Rural Superintendent of Police Sanjeet Shankar said that a reward of 25 paise was announced for the history-sheeter, based on his status. It should be noted that the police administration in Rajasthan has previously announced similar monetary rewards to tease history-sheeters. The administration's action took place in Amritkhedi village.
Adil had encroached on three and a half bighas of government land and illegally built two houses. On January 10th, the police announced a reward of 25 paise for Adil. A large police force was deployed at the scene during the action against Adil's houses. The administration's action lasted for approximately five hours.
Adil was given a notice to remove the encroachment, but he did not remove it within the stipulated time limit, so the administration took action on Sunday. Adil was arrested on January 11th in the Modak police station area of Kota. During his arrest, Adil fired five rounds at policemen. Three of his other associates have also been arrested. Police are trying to gather information about Adil's other illegal encroachments and his associates.
