IMD Rain Alert: The weather conditions in the majority of Indian states are not stable. There are some regions which are undergoing incessant storm and rainfall. North India is also bearing the brunt of this. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD weather update) has predicted widespread heavy rains, storms, and hurricanes in Uttar Pradesh and many associated states.
Severe Thunderstorm Alert -
Currently, it is expected that there will strong winds at 50kMh on Uttar Pradesh (UP Weather). In some locations, there is going to be increased lightning activity as well. The IMD has put cutoff restrictions on people venturing outside. If indeed these conditions materialize, then this might bring some cool respite from the sweltering temperatures.
On the other hand, sighted rains in the western Himalayan region is supposed to recede around april 21. After this, a heatwave will set in, and it is expected people will have to endure extreme temperatures.
Violent storms and torrential rain until April 24:
The weather department has hinted for wind turbines with bobble for varied locations in Gujarat State on April 24. As per met department, upper limit of temperature of Northwest India will elevate by two to three degree celsius within a span of 5 days. After this, there will be no significant change in the weather for 2 days.
The indian formal meteorology has also informed us of the chances of wind blowing over Lower and Moderate Upper parts of Inda, that the temp in east part will stay in a normal range for the next 24 hours maximum in central India along with gujarat working on (Gujarat Mausam Update). After which there shall be increment in the seven days window by two to three on level. Also, the max temperature on the eastern side of the country is anticipated to go up by 4 to 6 degrees over the course of the next four days.
Heat wave will prevail in these states -
For the rest of the states in the country, there is likely to be no significant difference in the highest temperature (Temperature update). Snowfall is likely to occur at several places in southern parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh on 22 & 24 April and rains are likely to be recorded in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal on 20 & 24 April. There is also a forecast of light to moderate rain in Gujarat on 22nd and 24th April.
How will be the weather in the past one day -
Thunderstorm and rain activities has been witnessed in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan and Muzaffarabad. Many places in Assam (assam weather) and Meghalaya had also registered some precipitation. There was lite to moderate rainfall in some parts of Arunanchal Pradesh , Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
Rain and hailstorm wreak havoc in these states -
The same is true for light moderate rains that were noticed over scattered regions of Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar (bihar ka mausam), Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, East UP, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe, Coastal Andhra and Yanam, Ryalaseema and some parts of interior Karnataka.
Other areas that experienced rain and strong winds include Jammu and Kashmir (Jammu and Kashmir Mausam), Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, as well as Telangana for today.
