The Anti-cyclonic circulation forming anew over the Bay of Bengal is predicted to result in extremely heavy rainfall in some areas of India, especially in the Eastern parts of the country. There is an expected chance of strong winds blowing in the eastern parts of the country at a pace recorded 40 to 60 kilometers an hour. Rainfall is expected in Bihar for today and tomorrow. Furthermore, Eastern Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are set to experience rainfall until the 22nd of March while West Madhya Prdesh, Sikkim, and Darjeeling will experience rainfall during the 20th and 21st. Alongside this, Vidarbha will experience rainfall on the 21st and 22nd while Jharkhand and Odisha will experience increased precipitation too. According to the IMD forecast, these states are set to experience increased rainfall on the 20th and 22nd of March which will be of a heavy intensity.
Will there be rainfall because of Cyclonic Circulation?
As claimed by the Meteorological Department, Pakistan and its neighboring regions are under the influences of a new cyclonic circulation that is made possible by a Western Disturbance. It is currently positioned over South West Rajasthan. The Sagittarius is likely to bring severe thunder-storms along with heavy winds. Because of this, many regions across Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh are likely to receive rainfall today. Furthermore, from today onward till March 22, thunderstorms are expected in Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department added that the following days are likely to see precipitation in the region of Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh.
