ICC Rankings Shake-Up: Nabi Dethroned, Aussie Star Takes T20I All-Rounder Crown, Hardik’s Leap

The fierce all-rounder playing for Australia in the T20 World Cup captured the first position. The name of this all-rounder is Marcus Stoinis. This fierce all-rounder has played an important role in getting Australia entry into the Super-8 by performing brilliantly with the bat in the current T20 World Cup. Stoinis scored an unbeaten 67 against Oman and also took 3 wickets. At the same time, he scored 59 runs against Scotland, hitting his second half-century of the tournament. For this performance, he was made the number-1 T20 all-rounder by the ICC.

Stoinis became the new king

Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has captured the number-1 position in the T20 International All-rounder Ranking with 231 rating points. He achieved this feat by leaving behind Afghanistan’s experienced all-rounder Mohammad Nabi. Nabi has now reached the fourth position with 213 rating points. At the same time, Indian star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has also gained 1 position in the latest ICC ranking. He has reached the seventh position with 192 rating points. Hardik is the only Indian in the top-10. 

Windies bowler’s big leap in bowling

In the T20 bowlers’ rankings, West Indies’ Akeel Hossain has jumped 6 places to occupy the second position. This bowler has 675 rating points. His teammate Alzari Joseph has also climbed six places to reach the 11th position, while his teammate Gudakesh Moti has climbed 16 places to reach the 13th position. England’s spinner Adil Rashid is at the top with 696 rating points. There is only one name from India in the top-10, Axar Patel. However, he has suffered a loss in the latest rankings and has come down to the 9th position with 646 rating points. 

Surya Kumar’s batting performance continues 

Team India’s Suryakumar Yadav’s dominance continues in the T20 batting rankings and he remains at the top with 837 rating points. Australia’s dreaded opener Travis Head has benefited. He has climbed 5 places to number 5. He has 742 rating points. Jos Buttler (710 rating) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (693 rating) have lost 1-1 place and have reached sixth and seventh place respectively.
