Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Tech mogul Elon Musk has walked back his previous scathing criticism of Donald Trump, admitting that some of his past posts about the former president "went too far." Speaking at the Cannes Lions festival of creativity, Musk reflected on the public and often ugly feud that erupted between the two influential figures in 2022.

The spat began when Musk stated that Trump was too old to be president and should "sail off into the sunset." In response, Trump called Musk a "bulls**t artist" and belittled his ventures, including his acquisition of Twitter (now X) and his ambitious tech projects.

During his recent appearance, Musk acknowledged the intensity of their exchange. "I think I did go a little too far in my posts about him," he said, signaling a significant de-escalation in their public rivalry.

However, Musk was quick to clarify that this expression of regret does not equate to a political endorsement. While he confirmed he would not be donating to any presidential campaign, he described his current political position as being "in the middle." He stated he is not a "die-hard Trump supporter" but also noted his disagreements with the Biden administration.

Musk characterized Trump as being "very good at... creating a spectacle," acknowledging his unique ability to command media attention. This shift in tone from outright dismissal to a more measured critique comes as the 2024 US presidential election looms, making Musk's influential voice a subject of intense public and political interest.
