The much-awaited Bollywood superhero movie Krrish 4 has hit another roadblock. According to reports, director Siddharth Anand and his production banner, Marflix, have decided to step away from the project.

Budget Constraints Cause Further Delays

As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, the estimated budget for Krrish 4 has skyrocketed to ₹700 crore. This significant financial requirement has made it challenging for production houses to move forward with the film.

The movie has already faced multiple delays in recent years, and with Siddharth Anand’s departure, the situation has become even more complicated. Reports also suggest that veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has chosen not to direct this installment, preferring to pass on the responsibility.

New Banner to Take Over Production

Following Siddharth Anand’s exit, Krrish 4 will now be developed under a different banner. However, the massive budget remains a key issue, making it difficult for production houses to commit to the project.

Hrithik Roshan, who had hoped for his close friend Siddharth Anand to take charge of the direction, has also been unable to proceed due to budgetary constraints.

Conflicting Reports on Budget Figures

Meanwhile, a report by India Today Digital contradicts the budget claims. A source stated that the rumored ₹700 crore budget figures circulating in the media are inaccurate.

Despite these uncertainties, it has been confirmed that Krrish 4 will be produced by FilmKraft in collaboration with a new studio, while Marflix will focus on other projects outside the Krrish franchise.

Stay tuned for further updates on Krrish 4 as the project continues to develop.
