Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Bollywood’s Akshay Kumar shines once again with Housefull 5, which is currently doing well at the box office. The film is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and has earned over Rs 110 crores, making it the fastest film to reach the 100 crore mark in the Housefull franchise.
As monitored by Sacnilk.com, the film has also performed well in domestic collections, earning Rs 10.75 crore on its first Tuesday with a Hindi occupancy of 17.5%. The film remains consistent in domestic revenue streaming.
With herculean storylines, bollywood never fails to entertain the audience and grab their attention. The story itself is engaging due to the talented starring cast Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Soundarya Sharma. Also supporting them are Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Johny Lever, Ranjeet, Chunky Panday, Dino Morea, Sonam Bajwa, and others.
The comedy centers around a murder mystery aboard a cruise ship. As the movie progresses, suspense and mystery keeps accumulating. A millionaire Jolly gets murdered after naming someone as his heir. With three Jollys (Akshay, Riteish and Abhishek) and a slew of suspects which includes the Jolly’s girlfriends, the movie is packed with laughter as well as plenty of surprises.
Double Endings Spark the Audience’s Interest
“Housefull 5” has come out in two versions: Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B, each with a different ending. To promote the film, the cast and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment asked fans to watch both versions for an enriched experience.
The film earned ₹55 crores in India and ₹87 crores globally within the first two days.
