Jitendra, a resident of Durah in Nitthar sub tehsil of Himachal’s Kullu district, has not yet reached his home after marrying a foreigner during the lockdown. Jitendra married Russia’s Lydia on May 29 in court. She wanted to get home and marry with religious customs, but he had to stay quarantined again and again.
Jitendra’s brother Kartar Thakur said that on May 6, his brother and sister-in-law wanted to come to Kullu , but had to return due to lack of knowledge of the pass to enter the state during the lockdown. He said he reached the atom in the vehicle. The driver brought them to Shoghi after sitting in the back of the car. Police stopped them here and sent them back to Noida. After this, both stayed there for 28 days. Now the district administration reached Durah on Saturday after taking permission from Kullu to come home.
The administration has quarantined both for 14 days in Nitthar. Now 14 days later we will return home. It is being told that after staying in institutional quarantine, both of them will get married with local customs. Russian Lydia came to Jitendra’s cafe in Kasol two years ago and gave her heart. Lydia works in Noida. Meanwhile, SDM Ani Chet Singh said that both of these have been kept in the Satsang Beas Bhawan Institutional Quarantine.
