Under the instructions of the Election Commission of India, special administrative efforts are underway in Charkhi Dadri under the SIR campaign, themed around "Your Vote, Your Identity - Every Resolution." This initiative offers citizens a convenient opportunity to update their voter lists, add new names, or make necessary corrections.
Main Forms for Voter List Updates
To ensure the voter list remains transparent and error-free, the election machinery utilizes three primary forms:
Form 6: Intended for new voters. Citizens who have attained the age of 18 and whose names are not yet included can submit this form.
Form 7: Utilized for removing names in cases of transfer, duplication, or death.
Form 8: Designed for making corrections to details such as names, ages, addresses, or photographs.
Citizens can complete these processes from home by visiting the Voters Service Portal or by submitting physical documents locally through their designated Booth Level Officer (BLO).
Special Campaign Days Announced
To assist residents further, special campaign dates have been scheduled. BLOs will be present at respective polling stations on specific weekends to collect forms directly from citizens.
