A Vital Middle-Order Batsman
Shreyas Iyer has represented Team India in a total of 10 Test matches, 42 ODIs, and 49 T20 matches. Notably, a Test series was played between India and Australia prior to IPL 2023. During this series, Iyer complained of lower back discomfort and was subsequently separated from the team. Following this, Iyer underwent successful surgery on his back in April. He has been undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy for the past two months.
