Farmers will once again march to Delhi today under the banner of many other organizations including Bharatiya Kisan Parishad, Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, and Samyukta Kisan Morcha. Farmers will march towards the Parliament premises on Monday with their five main demands, due to which security has been increased in Delhi-NCR areas and many routes have been changed. The farmers’ march will start today at noon near Mahamaya flyover and a huge group of farmers will move towards Delhi today on foot and tractors.

There are 10-15 farmers and around 10 tractors at Yamuna Authority. The time to leave for Delhi was 11 o’clock but there are very few people right now.
Noida’s Additional CP (Law and Order) Shivhari Meena says that more than 4,000 police personnel have been deployed, and there is three-tier security.
Some farmer leaders have been detained, Meena said that we will not let the farmers go to Delhi at any cost.
There is a huge jam on the roads leading to Delhi, the farmers are adamant about marching to Delhi.
Police have been deployed to stop the farmers on Delhi-Noida and Chilla border.

- A high-level meeting was held between the farmers and the administration just a day before. The farmers say that the officials have not given any concrete assurance.
- Bharatiya Kisan Parishad (BKP) leader Sukhbir Khalifa announced on Sunday that a march to the Parliament premises would be held on Monday, December 2 at 12 noon to protest demanding compensation and benefits under the new farm laws.
- The agitating farmers’ organizations are demanding 10 percent developed plots and the benefits of the new land acquisition law to the farmers affected by land acquisition.
- The farmers have five demands including allotment of 10 percent land under the old acquisition law and 64.7 percent increased compensation.
- The children of landowners and landless farmers should be given the benefits of employment and redevelopment.
- The recommendations of the High Power Committee should be implemented.
- Proper disposal of the populated areas should be done. All these decisions have to be taken at the government level.
- Farmers should be given the benefits of employment and rehabilitation.

- On November 27, farmers were staging a sit-in protest at the Greater Noida Authority, while from November 28 to December 1, they were staging a sit-in protest at the Yamuna Authority. Other farmer groups like the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and the Samyukta Kisan Morcha have also been organizing marches since December 6, pressing for demands like a guaranteed minimum support price (MSP).
