Citizens of Delhi-NCR have experienced continuous heavy rains prior to Independence Day. Following a long spell of rain on Friday afternoon, the city was greeted with partial sunlight and mostly cloudy skies on Saturday. As reported by the IMD, weather conditions are likely to change again this weekend which may inconvenience plans for millions.  

Saturday’s Status Update: Cloud Cover With Potential Showers

According to IMD, scattered cloud cover and showers are likely in Delhi-NCR. Saturday’s minimum temperature of 25°C came in 1.5°C below the season’s average which is promising for some cool weather.  

Looking Ahead to Sunday: Overcast Conditions With Light Showers Expected

As per the Sunday forecast, the IMD is predicting overcast skies for the Delhi-NCR region. Light showers are expected in some areas which would sustain the current humidity. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 33°C.  

What Does This Mean for Delhi-NCR Residents?  

Light to moderate showers are expected over the region. Along with that, outdoor activities may be curtailed, so umbrellas are recommended.  

Areas that do not experience rain will still be humid and likely see the vapor heat day in the middle of the day.
