Train services on Delhi Metro’s Blue Line were affected on Wednesday. According to the information, a drone found on the tracks between Uttam Nagar East and Uttam Nagar West metro stations has caused problems in train services. Delhi Metro officials have informed that on Wednesday, a drone was seen lying on the tracks between Uttam Nagar East and Uttam Nagar West metro stations on the Blue Line of Delhi Metro, due to which train services were affected for more than 30 minutes. After this, the drone was removed from the tracks. Metro services were not available between Uttam Nagar East and Uttam Nagar West during this entire work. After the incident, train services were made available on a single line between Uttam Nagar East and Janakpuri West and between Uttam Nagar West and Dwarka.

Another incident also happened

According to the information, there has been a second incident of drones being seen on the metro line. According to the metro police, the incident happened at 8 pm. The metro was stopped after a suspicious drone was seen above the Delhi Janakpuri metro line. The metro service was disrupted for some time. That air article (drone) has been recovered. The suspicious drone looks like a toy and interrogation of its owner is going on.

The line starts after security clearance.

Delhi Metro officials said that during the entire period of this incident, train services were available on both the rest of the Blue Line lines, i.e. Janakpuri West to Vaishali/Noida Electronic City and Dwarka to Dwarka Sector-21. Officials said that after security clearance, normal services were completely restored on the Blue Line from 3.29 pm from Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida Electronic City/Vaishali.
