Beijing: Hundreds of people who went to a wholesale market in the capital Beijing are being investigated after 67 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in China. Of the new cases, 42 have surfaced in Beijing. A spokesman for Beijing’s health department said on Monday that to prevent the spread of infection, authorities in Beijing have since May 30 been ‘nucleic acid tested’ of about 29,386 people who have gone to the champagne wholesale market.
Recently there have been many cases of coronavirus in the wholesale market. Out of the investigations conducted so far, 12,973 people have been confirmed not infected and the report of the rest is awaited. The National Health Commission (NHC) said in its daily report on Monday that 49 new cases of Kovid-19 have been reported and 18 people without symptoms have been confirmed infected. Till Sunday, 112 people found infected with no symptoms were living separately. These are patients in whom there was no symptom of Kovid-19, but still, they were found to be infected during the investigation.
There is also a risk of others getting infected by these. According to the commission, 36 of the new 49 cases were reported in Beijing on Monday. These cases have come up in the wholesale market from where meat and vegetables are supplied in the city. In Beijing, the Shifdi market has been closed and everyone working there should be examined and every person who has gone for two weeks It has been ordered to remain separate till, Till Sunday, 83,181 cases were reported in the country, out of which 177 people are under treatment. The condition of two of them is critical. NHC said that 78,370 people have been discharged from the hospital after treatment. At the same time, 4634 people lost their lives.
