Chiranjeevi, a key actor in Tollywood, apparently will not be conferred citizenship in the UK owing to his charitable activities, as the rumors go. The actor's team has since dismissed the reports, saying the reports are prima facie ‘false’ and asked ‘news agencies to cross verify’ such information before putting it into the public domain.

“It is our humble submission to news outlets that the revelations concerning Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu’s honorary citizenship have very little basis in authenticity. We kindly request news outlets to conduct verification in advance of publishing such statements.”

Of late, a lot of meme pages have reported that megastar Chiranjeevee is on course to receiving honorary UK citizenship without any official confirmation for the same.

Chiranjeevee is a beloved figure for fans, who shower memes such as: “Another great accomplishment comes with Chiranjeevee. His crown receives another jewel, as the UK government is set to reward him with honorary citizen status.”

Afterwards, with the help of Chiranjeevee fan pages, the news transformed instantly to, “Chiranjeevee’s superb philanthropic healthcare empowering activities won him global respect. A stunning ceremony is going to happen in London.”

The movie’s sister figure was played by Keerthy Suresh. Just like its predecessor, the film bombed at the box office.

The actor is due to appear in Vassishta’s socio-fantasy drama “Vishwambhara”, which is expected to be released sometime after Sankranthi.
