LCC Projects IPO GMP Surges as Issue Achieves Full Subscription on Day Two, Signaling Up to 34 Percent Listing Gains

Post

The Rs 427 crore initial public offering (IPO) of infrastructure major LCC Projects has witnessed stellar momentum, achieving full subscription by its second day of bidding and sending ripples of excitement through the unlisted market. Fueled by robust retail and institutional demand, market observers note that the company's Grey Market Premium (GMP) has crossed the Rs 50 mark. With the issue price band fixed between Rs 139 and Rs 146 per share, the current GMP indicates a projected listing gain of approximately 30 to 34 percent over the upper price band. While grey market premiums remain unofficial and entirely sentiment-driven indicators of unlisted trading activity, the strong pricing momentum reflects growing investor confidence in the company's market positioning.

Strong Subscription Numbers Across Retail, NII, and Institutional Categories

Bidding data compiled up to the second day reveals that the LCC Projects IPO has been subscribed a healthy 2.32 times overall, led by enthusiastic participation across all investor segments. The retail portion witnessed tremendous traction, drawing bids for 2.87 crore shares against the 1.05 crore shares reserved, resulting in a 2.73 times subscription rate. Similarly, Non-Institutional Investors (NII) showed heavy interest, subscribing 2.91 times by bidding for 1.31 crore shares against an allocation of 45 lakh shares. Furthermore, the portion earmarked for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) successfully crossed the full subscription threshold, achieving a 1.14 times subscription rate to cement the success of the public issue.
